Eid al-Adha, or the "Feast of Sacrifice," is the second major festival in Islam. It honors Prophet Ibrahim's (Abraham) unwavering devotion and willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God, who ultimately provided a ram to sacrifice instead.
